4. Chanel Grand Extrait - $4, 200 per ounce

Ever since 1921, when Coco Chanel famously launched Chanel No. 5, the label has been synonymous with luxury. The aim was to create a fragrance that smells like a woman, rare and powerful. This limited edition Parfum was released as the most rare and pure original No. 5 scent. Rose and jasmine from Chanel’s own fields in France go into the perfume making it a choice for the true fragrance connoisseurs. Factoring the expense of this perfume, Chanel see’s this fragrance as more of a collectors piece, for show rather than for use. Each bottle was also created with the intention to be produced with a glassmaker’s individual touch, adding to its value.
