Happy Valentine’s Day! Whether you’re celebrating it on a romantic getaway or spending it with your favourite gal pals, we’ve got you covered on how to look and feel like the beautiful goddesses you all are. We have pulled out the must-know tips on how to perfect your look on this special day.

Upright-Uptight Do

A topknot is the epitome of elegance, sophistication and charm and is super versatile for any event. To achieve the sleek appearance, it is crucial to start off with smooth, straight hair. Gather up hair into a high ponytail and once fastened, twist the ends around the base of the ponytail and secure with elastic bands and bobby pins (and its ok if you end up using 20 bobby pins). Finish off the do with hairspray for that strong hold.

Sultry Lids

Sultry eye makeup

Give yourself an eccentric eye look by applying metallic eyeshadow all over your lids. Apply a shadow primer over the base of your eye lids to ensure that it stays pigmented. Finish off the look by applying a dark pencil eyeliner on your upper and lower lash lines and smudge it gently for that smoky effect.

 Fluttery Falsies

False eye lashes

False lashes will make your eyes pop and make you look like the dazzling star you are. There are endless designs and finishes to match your look and eye shape. First start off by trimming the ends to fit your lash line. Next, dab the band with glue and wait 30seconds for the glue to become tacky and gently adhere it as close to your lash line as possible. Once the lashes have dried, blend it with black eyeliner to conceal the seam and you’re ready to go.

Rosy Red Lips

And of course, you cannot complete the Valentine’s Day look without a touch of red on your lips. Outline and fill in your lips with a rich red lip pencil and then go over your lips with a creamy satin finish lipstick. Remember to apply lip balm beforehand so that your lips are super soft and moisturised.

 Get your glow on

Moisturised legs which glow

It is so important to moisturise your body so that you don’t risk getting patchy and uneven skin. Make sure you focus on your joints such as your elbows and knees. This final touch will make your body glow. Opt for a scented moisturiser so that you smell as sweet as you look.
